Galahad is a large poster on Tumblr (I’m actually surprised when I refresh my dash and the first post isn’t from him). On about 111 works total, he has 95 works for Miraculous Ladybug only! The others are mainly from the DCU. Many of them all are WIPs, but hey! Who doesn’t have WIPs?

Wisdom Teeth:  Words:7605 - Chapters:7/7 Summary: Adrien FaceTimes Marinette while high on painkillers after wisdom tooth surgery, and lets something slip that he really shouldn’t have.

What I liked: Marinette driving Adrien insane :)

Personal Space :  Words:6342 - Chapters:3/? - Updated:2020-10-25 Summary: Adrien Agreste was never taught to say no. Never allowed to have boundaries. So when someone finally pushes too far, Ladybug is left with a partner in pain, a crush in need of the kindness he’s never received...And a former idol she needs to murder.

What I liked: Marinette going into bodyguard mode, Adrien’s friends opened minds, DJWifi banter over the phone. Can’t wait for next chapter!

Inconceivable : Words:2537 - Chapters:3/? - Updated:2019-07-19 Summary: There are two things of which Gabriel Agreste is absolutely certain. The first is that there is no such thing as a soulmate. Everything he knows about both science and magic claims it impossible. The second thing is that his son somehow, infuriatingly, has a soulmate anyway.

What I liked: Gabriel POV, Gabriel actually having good intentions towards his son, Sabine plotting with him, credible explanations for canon

Notes to Self: Words:22911 - Chapters:16/? - Updated:2019-10-23 Summary: Adrien finds out midway through Oblivio that his assumption was wrong, and that Marinette is NOT his girlfriend. So he decides to do leave a message calling himself out for failing to properly appreciate the most incredible person he’s ever met. Now, having been confronted with his mistakes, Adrien has realized that he has a lot to make up for—and a girl who needs to know exactly how much she means to him.

What I liked: I think I’ve read this fic 3 times now, and can’t be bored of it. Adrien figuring out he was in love with Marinette from day 1, Oblivio-Adrien calling himself out, Tom and Sabine’s open mind about their super-heroing. Bonus: Kagami wanting a polygamic relationship and Adrien admitting looking at Luka’s butt 😂

Officiated: Words:7562 - Chapters:9/? - Updated:2020-04-28 Summary: The aftermath of an Akuma attack leaves Ladybug and Chat Noir legally married.

What I liked: mostly the originality of the akuma. The fic might update, but it also feels complete. You won’t be stuck on a cliffhanger.

Children of War: Words:8295 - Chapters:7/? - Updated:2019-05-03 Summary: Something dark is coming to Paris, and Master Fu has been lying to Adrien and Marinette. What happened to the previous Team Miraculous? And how did Marinette's aunt Bridgette really end up in a mental hospital?

What I liked: Gabriel’s intentions to save Paris, the integration of the Quantic Kids, the strong angst. Can’t wait for more!

Sick Days (series):  Works:2 - Complete: No Summary:  Adrien comes home after a long photoshoot to find Marinette Dupain-Cheng asleep in his bed, running a horrific fever. What is she doing there, and how did she get into his house without setting off any alarms? (And why does she keep mumbling his name?) / Marinette’s cold is passing, but the embarrassment is not—they may be dating, and they may be partners, but she still can’t keep it together around Adrien the way she can around his alter ego. Which is a problem, because he’s caught her cold—and the absolute lack of filter that came with it.

What I liked: the delirium shenanigans (read Out Sick by @sweetsweetsweetie​ if you like that too), the Dupain-Chengs actual A+ parenting. Please, Galahad, don’t abandon this fic!!

Wingman: Words:11211 - Chapters:10/12 - Updated:2019-08-06 Summary: Hawkmoth's Akuma have been acting strange lately--every single one has been an obsessive LadyNoir shipper, much to Chat's horrific embarrassment. Ladybug hasn't noticed, but Chat can't quite get over the fact that Hawkmoth seems to have redirected his supervillain antics to setting him up with the girl of his dreams.

What I liked: The humoristic scenes (Nath scolding Gabe was my favorite), Gabriel trying to parent properly, Nathalie caring for both Agrestes. “I swear this fic was supposed to be a comedy”

The shirt: Words:16503 - Chapters:20/? - Updated:2019-10-22 Summary: On a cold night in January, Chat Noir lends Ladybug his jacket--only to find Marinette wearing it to class the next day. And that's just the beginning of the trouble.

What I liked: the fluff over the fluff, Chloé working on her redemption, the post-reveal banter,  "Tell... my father... he's a diiiiiiick..."

We Break Things Down Just to Build Them Back Up Again: Words:7916 - Chapters:5/? - Updated:2019-11-05 Summary: Adrien promised he'd have Marinette's back, but no matter how badly she needs him, he won't take any kind of action to protect her—or, for that matter, himself. When Marinette discovers WHY he finds it so impossible to stand up to bullies, she resolves to put aside her crush to help him escape his abusive household. But the less she thinks about Adrien, the more she thinks about a different blond boy in her life—and the more time she spends taking care of Adrien, the more he starts to see her as more than just a friend...

What I liked: Marinette’s mom friend override, Adrien’s hurt to comfort (even though Chat’s part is yet to come), Tom telling Adrien he’s proud of him, and Adrien’s reaction to that just made me cry. I’m craving for moooooooooore!!!

I’ve been reading non-stop since my previous Fic of the month special. I have many regrets in life, but reading Galahad’s fics wasn’t one of them!

Thanks for so much work and efforts! I really love the variety, originality and consistency between the fics, even if they have different stories. I really love the hurt to comfort too, and how many mental troubles and disorders are depicted.

DC Crossover AU | swear warning

So all the Gotham AU’s have Marinette leaving Paris to fend for itself which while I’m not against the idea of Marinette going on holiday or getting a break seems a bit unrealistic for both Marinette’s personality AND that of the Batfam. It isn’t out of character for members of the Batfam to go to different countries for extended periods of time however.

So I propose this (though I apologise to Daminette shippers because this isn’t for you) older psydo-siblings Marinette and Adrien AU:

Damian, ten years old, is now living with his father and has just been told that everything he has learnt growing up is a lie and he should abandon it immediately.

Obviously, this doesn’t go down well with the ten year old ex-assassin in training.

To make matters worse Batman has just not-died? Everyone thinks he’s dead and there’s a lot of in-fighting in the family.

Tim wants to remain Robin, Dick thinks Damian should be Robin. There’s a lot of expectation on his shoulders and Damian still has no idea who he is as a person: most ten year olds at least think they know who they are.

So Damian just packs a bag, hijacks a JLA teleporter/zeta-tube and books it to Paris in the middle of the night, resolving to tell Alfred and Barbara where he is over video message because it would be easier.

Why Paris? Well they face near apocalypses regularly enough that Damian won’t be thrown off guard when he returns to Gotham.

While being different enough he won’t get bored.

It doesn’t take long for Barbara to demand an explanation for why Damian is suddenly in Paris of all places.

There’s an attack while Damian’s video chatting her and he can tell she feels guilty but he’s sticking to himself on this one.

Babs isn’t the type to disagree with Damian needing time away from the clusterfuck that is their family. Makes sure he has money and an apartment with a secret room for training and gear etc.

Babs actually wants to know more about the situation in Paris, most of the videoes look fake to her but her systems can’t figure out how. Damian is officially running a mission for Oracle.

He ends up pulling out his katana to help protect a few younger children who got seperated from their parents or carers in the park. Damian doen’t really have to do much, but he’s got a sword and that makes the kids feel safer.

Ladybug and Chat Noir notice the surprisingly capable child with a sword.

After the attack Chat Noir is the one to talk to Damian, who isn’t quite sure what to say just that everything he’s learnt about his upbringing thus far has been a lie and he’s looking to escape his expectations a bit.

Honestly, a ten year old who ran away from home to be free is the kind of person who gets Adrien’s immediate respect. And Chat promises to help with that but asks Damian to stay with a friend first.

Said friend is Marinette.

Damian pieces things together and assumes the two know eachothers identities because why would you work on a team and not know who the other person is.

Outs them both, Marinette for being Ladybug and Chat for being whoever the posters on the wall are.

When he realises what happened he - having been raised in a particularly large cult - suggests a magical secrecy vow that stops others from being able to overhear or read the secret. That way the danger of the other person knowing is reduced to zero.

He then suggests they train together because clearly they haven’t been doing enough of that and their enemies probably are.

Adrien talks about getting Chloé to help enroll Damian in Dupont, Damian decides to test to skip a few years so he’s in the same classes as them.

He likes being able to talk to people who don’t automatically assume he’s an idiot because he’s young. Though he’ll deny it.

There’s another call from Dick who is exactly the embarrassing guilty older brother he’s expected to be.

Meanwhile, Marinette and Adrien are steadfastly refusing to acknowledge they like eachother.

Marinette believes that Adrien is having second thoughts about his love declarations to Ladybug because he’s not saying anything. While Adrien is falling over himself because Ladybug turned him down and Marinette won’t speak to him at school and oh no.

All sides of the love square are aware of eachother but it’s still alive. It’s exactly that stupid.

By the time Dick has finished calling Wally has made it to the bakery to pick up Damian and take him to his new apartment. Damian taking both of their numbers so that he can contact them and vice versa.

Adrien and Marinette have found some kind of common ground by the time Damian is in Dupont taking tests for skipping a number of grades. It’s probably somewhere in Marichat territory.

This change shocks everyone in their class at the same time.

When they meet Damian they’re even more confused because Marinette and Adrien have bonded over co-parenting a ten year old???

Jason was the one who got away from Gotham when he heard that and he would not stop laughing.

Damian does make it into their class.

Kim thinks he can tease Alix over the fact she’s as short as a ten year old.

Damian teaches Alix how to flip Kim and she does.

Alix, Nathaniel and Damian are really good friends from then onwards.

Which is good because I’ve always headcanonned Damian getting into art.

Damian and Lila do not get along, though he’s treating her presence as a training exercise on building tolerance. He said as much to both Adrien and Marinette causing them to laugh.

Various members of the Batfamily have had few interactions with Gabriel Agreste, including but not limited to snarky comments about how they made it into school for Careers Day while living in the States.

Team Miraculous have also had encounters with the JLA. They’ve ended particularly badly in the beginning because of how the JLA was apparently aware of Tim’s breakdown over Bruce not being dead and looking for him, while not doing anything to provide help or listen. People who do that aren’t welcome in Paris.

Saying Gabriel Agreste is the second most hated characters of the show would be an understatement (The first is Lie-la), but for many reasons, I firmly headcanon that he is a shipper on deck for Adrienette.

His son’s best friend (And maybe only) tries to throw a birthday party for him? Forbid this friendship.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng steals a very precious book (for several reasons)? Allow Adrien to return to school, no string attached, and even reply a question to said girl.

The daughter of the mayor of Paris, who is his son’s childhood friend, makes an impeccable audition as Ladybug for Clara Nightingale’s video? Marinette is a better choice anyway.

Audrey Frigging Bourgeois is coming to one of his fashion shows? Screw her, the VIP seating is for the parents of Marinette.

And of course he saw all those paparazzi photos of Adrien with his little girlfriend at the cinema, hiding in a fountain, etcetera.

And of course Gabriel “Neglectful yet overprotective” Agreste wouldn’t let his boy out of his sight on the trip to London (Nathalie and the bodyguard were nowhere to be seen, so it stand to reason that they traveled alone). So… how did Adrien got his Good Friend™ medicine? Easy Peasy! His father actually helped him!

The Agreste Family Fabulous Hunt for Laxatives.

Gabriel didn’t like leaving Paris. What if another opportunity presented itself? It wasn’t like he could release an akuma in London. And for what? Ladybug and Chat Noir wouldn’t be there, and they could suspect him again for being in London.

He had even given the weekend off to Nathalie and Adrien’s bodyguard, -What was his name again? Gustav? Giuseppe? Gaylord? It was something with “G” he was sure… Gorilla? – To spend the weekend with Adrien.

After the train incident- so there *is* a guardian in Paris after all! – the trip on the train was rather peaceful. Adrien had ignored that Tsurugi girl with his headphones the whole trip, although the girl didn’t seem bothered and had spend the whole time on her phone too.

The wedding was beautiful –not as beautiful as his wedding, but nothing could compare to Emilie – but he couldn’t help but notice Adrien had been fidgeting and restless the whole affair. It was odd, as Adrien usually loved weddings... although he called marriages “the ultimate form of friendship”… weird boy.

“Father?” Adrien called him from the other side of the limo they had rented. “Can we stop for a bit at a pharmacy? I need something” So that was why he was restless.

“Is something wrong? Are you feeling okay?”

“Yes, yes don’t worry. A friend asked me to get some medicine”

“… in London?”

“Yes, I guess you can’t get this medicine in Paris? I don’t know… She was very insistent that only *I* could give it to her”

“Her? Who?”

“My Good Friend™ Marinette… the girl that designed the hat I wore that time?”

Of course Gabriel knew who Marinette was. She was the –awesome – designer girl from his class. The girl who even Audrey Burgeouis has nothing but good things to say… his son secret little girlfriend! Of course he had suspected before that Adrien was interested in her –they were a perfect match – and seeing his fans document their little date was interesting.  If only his son would come clean about that relationship already! Gabriel was already sketching some wedding dresses, both western and Chinese… maybe Marinette would prefer a blend of cultures? 

That Marinette surely reminded Gabriel of when he was young and stupidly in love with Emilie. He couldn’t help but reminiscence when he had done the same to a date with Emilie. He had been so excited to his first official date with Emilie that he had accidentally worn his silky pajamas to the theater. Luckily he wasn’t famous yet.

If Adrien had no reservations about buying medicine for his girlfriend, it meant they were very comfortable around each other already.  

“What medicine did your gir… Good Friend™ ask for?”

 Adrien smiled wide, happy that his father was taking his quest as seriously as himself. He took the prescription out of his pocket and showed it to his dad. He read it and raised an eyebrow. Gabriel recognized the name of the medicine. It was a laxative. Not only that, but the particular brand the doctor had requested was French. It would be hard to find it in London. Was Marinette pranking Adrien?

He again reminisced of pranks he and Emilie had played on each other.

“Well, if this is what your ‘Good Friend™’ wants… You know, we could get her something nice too from this trip”

Gabriel had to hide the excitement on his voice. Of course he would prefer giving his son’s girlfriend an Agreste original, but now that they were on a trip, he might get Adrien to give her something more romantic than… constipation pills. Man, if she was comfortable enough asking him that, prank or not, is as if they were already married.  

“That’s not what she asked. She needs the medicine”

Not the response he was expecting but okay.

“Very well… maybe we can get her some Chocolate laxatives? We can even get a pretty box for them” OUTPRANK HER YOU FOOL!

“No father, she asked me for those. Only *I* can give it to her!” Adrien looked oddly proud of that statement. Gabriel was equally oddly proud of his son. Maybe it was a little game he and his girlfriend had. He couldn’t help but smile. 

“Fine, let’s go get her medicine”

Gabriel and his son then went on an epic hunt on their weekend in London searching for some Parisian medicine. Gabriel couldn’t’ help himself but point Adrien some cute dresses –Marinette would look nice in red! It would compliment her blue hair and eyes- but his son said that that was not what she had asked for. He went lower a lower. A diamond necklace, some earrings, a bracelet, all kinds of jewelry – except a ring, it would be too much-, candy, chocolates, a hamster shaped purse… all he could point to, but Adrien insisted that Marinette had asked for Medicine specifically. They finally got the medicine on their last day, and as weird as it had been, he had enjoyed spending the time hunting for that thing with his son. He owed that to his future daughter-in-law (he couldn’t help but snicker at the thought) and decided that, even if his son didn’t want to give anything to her, he would take matters in his own hands. He found the PERFECT gift for an aspiring young designer and using the hotel services, send it to Marinette’s address (Nathalie found it really fast) in Adrien’s name. He asked them to gift wrap it, and wrote a note, which he asked the staff to write in a computer and add to the gift. He was not going to let his idiot son ruin his relationship by not bringing his secret girlfriend an appropriate gift.

Marinette arrived at her home, still embarrassed about the whole Girl Squad discovering Adrien had actually got her the constipation pills for Grandpa Chan… of course they didn’t believe her they were for her Grandpa.

“How was school today?” Her mother asked after greeting her. Marinette went red and mumbled a reply. Luckily for her, she knew her daughter too well and recognized that particular shade as embarrassed, but the good kind of embarrassment. Her daughter was weird, was the point.

“Oh, and a package arrived for you today, your father left it in your room” 

Marinette was intrigued. A package? She wasn’t expecting anything. She went to her room and found the box immediately. It was decorated in a pretty flowery paper with a bow with logos that Marinette recognized as the hotel Adrien had stayed (Because of course she knew exactly where Adrien was in London) and a single little note added to it. “To Marinette From Adrien��

Marinette’s heart rushed, while Tikki tried to calm her down. She practically ran to the box and obliterated the paper, throwing it over a very indignated Tikki.

It was a extremely pretty Sketchpad (expensive too) with an aluminum case that matched the cover, filled with all kind of pencils and other tools. It had a flowery “M” engraved in both. Marinette was beaming, practically hovering over the floor.

“Hey, this fell from your gift” Tikki picked up a small envelope and gave it to Marinette. Marinette eagerly opened it and started to read it.

“Dear Good Friend™ Marinette. I saw this sketchpad and immediately reminded me of you. You are so talented! Please don’t mention this gift, I bought it in secret and my Father might get angry I got out without his permission to get it. P.S. Hope you’re feeling better about your constipation.”

“Wow, Adrien is so thoughtful!” Tikki said with a small chuckle. “Marinette?”

Marinette was unresponsive. She was silently wondering if she could convince her parents to change names and go live in Timbuktu.
